Südkaserne, Nürnberg, Deutschland - The main customs office in Nuremberg celebrates its 25th anniversary at the South Sacerne location on June 8, 2023. The move from Weddigenstraße to Frankenstrasse was initiated after four years of renovation in March 2000 and was crowned with the official opening.

Head Sabine Heise emphasizes that the past 25 years have been shaped by constant change and new challenges. In 2004, customs took over the sole responsibility for the fight against undeclared work and took over the vehicle tax survey in 2014. With the main location in the Nuremberg Südstadt as well as other customs offices at the harbor, airport and in Erlangen-Tennenlohe and Ansbach, the main customs office is well equipped for the challenges of the future.
