False drivers caused serious accident on B2: 43-year-old injured!

In the night of Saturday, May 31, 2025, a dramatic traffic accident occurred on the B2 near Meitingen. A 17-year-old driver was reported as a false driver and raced head-on into an oncoming vehicle. The collision was violent and led to serious injuries to a 43-year-old driver, while the young person only served slight injuries.

The police reacted immediately: the young driver was temporarily arrested. Due to the severity of the crime, an investigative judge issued an arrest warrant against the 17-year-old at the request of the Augsburg public prosecutor, among other things because of attempted murder. He is now in custody in a correctional facility. The property damage on the two vehicles amounts to over 25,000 euros.
