Beware of trick theft! 75-year-old is victims of a fraudster in Swabia

St. Barbara, Deutschland - in the city center of St. Barbara, a brazen trick theft occurred on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. A 75-year-old woman picked up cash between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and was addressed by an unknown perpetrator on the way home. The latter claimed that the senior citizen had lost coin money, which made her to lift the money and thus distract her attention from the actual offense.

The Swabian police police recorded the investigation and describes the perpetrator as unknown. Witnesses are urgently asked to report on 0821/323-3821. In order to prevent such incidents in the future, the police will give further security tips: If they do not highlight large amounts of money at once, stow your money and avoid being observed. Be vigilant and protect yourself!
