A serious traffic accident occurred on Monday morning on the country road between Rentwertshausen and Nordheim. A 62-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle in a light curve and collided head-on with an oncoming car. In the dramatic collision, the 69-year-old driver and his 69-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries and had to be hospitalized immediately.

The police found a terrifyingly high breath alcohol value of over two per thousand in the person who caused the accident. This led directly to a blood sample in the hospital and to ensure his driver's license. The vehicles were completely damaged by the collision and had to be towed - total damage, no further progress for both cars!
