On Tuesday morning, June 10, 2025, a traffic accident occurred on the Lippweg in Beckum at 7:40 a.m., in which a 34-year-old driver was slightly injured. The man lost control of his vehicle, came off the street and had to be taken to the hospital by rescue workers. The damage to the car is estimated at around 8,500 euros.

The police blocked the Lippweg for around 20 minutes, while the emergency services worked at the scene of the accident. In addition, the driver's driver's license was ensured after information on physical defects.
