Learner students under drugs: traffic accident on the A7 in the construction site area

In the late afternoon of 4.30 p.m., there was a dangerous incident with a driving school car on the A7 near Oggenhausen. A 29-year-old learner driver, who apparently was under the influence of drugs, tried to overtake a truck. In its daring maneuver, the truck approached the left lane dangerously, so that the learner drivers with his Mercedes A-Class slogged along the guiding protection wall. Fortunately, there was no collision with the truck, which apparently did not notice anything from the incident and just continued.

The police, alarmed by the dangerous driving maneuvers, started a search for the truck driver, which, however, remained with no result. During the learner's review, the officials found signs of drug use. A test confirmed what many had already guessed: the young man had consumed cocaine. He had to hand in a blood sample in the hospital and received an advertisement. The driver's license office was also informed, which should make its plans for the driver's license considerably more difficult. The driving instructor, on the other hand, was allowed to continue after the accident. The property damage to the Mercedes is estimated at around 5,000 euros.
