On Wednesday afternoon there was a scandalous incident in Oberreichenbach during a storm: firefighters were alerted to Fischborner Straße to remove washed earth sludge. A 73-year-old man insulted the emergency services, which prompted a passer-by to remind him of calm. But the senior did not stop and put a firefighter in the face - a tooth broke off!

The Situation continued to escalate when the man picked up a paving stone, but did not use it. The alarmed police took up the incident, determined the attacker's personal details and made a criminal complaint for assault and insult. The injured 43-year-old fireman was treated by rescue workers and taken to the hospital. Witnesses of the incident are asked to report to the Schlüchter police station.
