In the evening hours of June 7, 2025, there was a violent discussion between two groups of numbers at the Keplerstraße tram stop in Schwerin, around 150 people, including many children. Two men were injured in the incident and were on the ground while a child was identified with minor injuries. All three were immediately taken to the hospital.

The police report that due to conflicts between the groups involved, which were predominantly Syrian nationality, there were physical arguments with blows and kicks. As a result, an investigation was initiated due to the fracture of the peace. The criminal police take over the further investigations. In order to ward off the dangers, Hamburger Allee was completely blocked during the measures.
