In a dramatic incident in Bremen-Gröpelingen, a 28-year-old man was seriously injured when an unknown perpetrator shot him on Ascension during the night. The shots fell around 11:45 p.m. while the victim was sitting in front of a pub in the pastor's path. Suddenly the attacker approached on foot and opened the fire, where he hit the victim in his foot.

The shooter then fled over the Moorstrasse towards Grünzug West. The seriously injured man was immediately taken to a hospital where he is treated inpatient. The police are looking for witnesses to clarify the background of the crime that is currently the subject of intensive investigations.
