On Saturday, May 24, 2025, there was a dramatic traffic accident on Neuburger Strasse in Lechhausen, in which an e-bike driver was injured. The 48-year-old driver of an Opel wanted to turn into a property when he overlooked the 52-year-old, who was traveling on the walking and bike path against the direction of travel. At the last second, the e-bike driver braked strongly to avoid a collision, but fell and overturned.

The fall of the 52-year-old suffered his hand and foot injuries and was immediately taken to a hospital. The Opel driver is now facing an investigation into negligent bodily harm and a violation of the road traffic regulations.
