In the night of Monday, June 2, 2025, a 24-year-old e-scooter driver in Lechhausen was checked by the police when he was under the influence of cannabis. Around 3:00 a.m. a police patrol noticed the driver in Hans-Böckler-Straße and found that he was holding a shaken joint in his hand.

As a result of this control, the police initiated an investigation into violation of the Road Traffic Act. The incident highlights the risks of cannabis consumption in road traffic and the associated legal consequences.
