A large chess field has been installed, but the chess figures have so far been housed in a closed box and cannot yet be loaned. The district committee under the direction of chairman Carmen Dullinger -ßwald is currently looking for a solution to deposit the key, since so far nobody was ready to keep it.
additional facilities and planned events

A Christmas tree stand desired by the citizens is also to be installed by the end of June, with a hotel announced to donate a Christmas tree annually. Covered bicycle stands are also included in the planning. These facilities should make the space even more attractive and increase quality of stay.
Another important point is the future planned use of the square for a weekly market. This is currently taking place at the Cincinnati-Kino, a relocation to the Auguste-Kent-Platz could further increase the attractiveness of the area and lead to a revival of the place.
