From July 1, 2025, he will lead the mobility division and thus also the mobility fair IAA Mobility, which will take place again in Munich in 2025. Vorländer, known from TV formats such as "Judge Alexander Hold", had served in the city council since 2014 and most recently worked on the Supervisory Board of Messe Munich.

In an emotional farewell, the foreheads expressed that he left politics "with at least one crying eye". He will lay down his volunteer mandate and all associated offices on June 30, 2025. During his time in the city council, reserves were particularly responsible for economic and location policy issues and was committed to equality, the protection of LGBTQI people and against right-wing extremism. SPD boss Anne Hübner praised his merits and emphasized his legal competence and willingness to dialogue.

The IAA Mobility will not only take place in 2025, but there are already plans for continuation until the next decade. Economic officer Clemens Baumgärtner from the CSU proposes to hold the fair in 2027, 2029 and 2031. This decision is expected to be made in the upcoming general assembly of the city council. The controversial exhibition areas in the center of Munich should also be preserved, which has caused both support and resistance in the town hall.
