Drunk traveler causes excitement in the ICE to Halle!

On Monday morning, June 9, 2025, a 28-year-old man caused excitement at the Intercity Express from Berlin to Halle (Saale). When checking the ticket, the young man was striking and pretended to be asleep. The train attendant then alerted the Magdeburg Federal Police Inspection when the train arrived at Halle Central Station at 07:10 a.m.

The officials asked the man several times to leave the train, which he reluctantly did. Despite his growing resistance and refusal to reveal his identity, he could finally be recorded. After a search in the federal police station, a voluntary breath alcohol test resulted in a shock value of 1.83 per thousand! With two criminal complaints for the scolding of services and resistance to enforcement officers, he was allowed to leave the office at 9:02 a.m.
