Shock moment on A24: motorist injured, sun dazzles!

In a traffic accident on the A 24 between Hagenow and Wöbbelin, a 44-year-old driver was slightly injured on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred around 6:50 a.m. when the woman with her vehicle on a van with a trailer in front of her. This meant that her car turned and collided with the outer protection plank. The injured was brought to the Hagenow Hospital for treatment. The 48-year-old driver of the van remained intact.

The consequence of the accident was a temporary blocking of the road towards Berlin until around 8:30 a.m., since the collapsed traffic blocked a vehicle in the fast lane. Both vehicles, the car and the trailer, were no longer ready to drive and had to be towed. The property damage amounts to around 16,000 euros. According to initial information from the driver, the deep sun could have been the reason for the accident. The police have received the investigation into the cause of the accident.
