A look at the registration conditions
For those interested in the next possible summer semester 2025 there is important information about the application deadlines. The early application period begins on January 1, 2025, which is recommended for non-EU applicants who need a visa for Germany. The regular application period ends on February 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. CET, and is suitable for applicants who do not need a visa.
A complete application requires specific documents, including all diplomas and transcripts as well as a certified translation. International applicants are also aware of the required knowledge of English, which require at least 93 points in the TOEFL IBT or equivalent evidence. It should be noted that knowledge of German is not necessary for participation in the program, which makes access to many international students access. This is particularly relevant in view of the steadily increasing number of international students who are interested in studying in Germany, as is emphasized at a university start.
The university offers a clear structure for the application and approval procedure. After submitting the online application, applicants will receive a confirmation of the status of their documents by email within about two weeks. Contact with desired universities with regard to the recognition of foreign certificates and language skills in order to avoid misunderstandings is particularly important
The European University Viadrina and other institutions have prepared to equate international applicants, especially with regard to educational countries and members of the EU or EEA countries. The entire procedure is supplemented by transparent communication and support to meet the students.
