FRAKIMA workshop inspires with record exhibition I+YOU=WE”!
In the period from May 26th to June 14th, 2025, the FRAKIMA workshop in the Kantorhaus at Tuchmacherstrasse 13 in Bernau near Berlin recorded a real rush of visitors. At the fourth joint exhibition entitled “I + YOU = WE”, an incredible 825 art enthusiasts flocked to the exhibition barnim-aktuell.de reported. This number sets new records and shows the great interest in the creative performances of the participants.
The head of the FRAKIMA workshop, Anja Schreier, was very pleased with the high number of visitors and the lively interest in the works that were created by the hands of small and large course participants from 14 different courses. Since September 2024, they have dealt intensively with the central topic “I + YOU = WE”, which Anja Schreier describes as relevant and significant on a daily basis.
Creativity and diversity
The works shown covered a wide spectrum: from paintings, drawings and watercolors to sculptures, studies, illustrations and felt works. Each of the participating courses had developed their own subtopics for the exhibition. For example, the painting course led by Adriana Bickel chose the motto “Experiences bring us together,” which placed collective feelings in the foreground. The “Painting & Drawing” course under Matthias Illner shone with a square community picture that was made up of nine individual pictures. Matthias Illner emphasized that every participant made a valuable contribution.
Anja Schreier warmly thanked all course participants for their creative works and voluntary support throughout the entire duration of the exhibition. Promoting community, tolerance and respect is central to the work of the FRAKIMA workshop and is reflected in the projects.
Free entry and musical accompaniment
The exhibition was open to all visitors free of charge. On Mondays and Wednesdays the FRAKIMA workshop opened its doors from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. During the opening on May 25, 2025, singer Antonia Regis provided the musical accompaniment with atmospheric singing.
In summary, it can be said that the event was not only a highlight of the art scene in Bernau, but also impressively demonstrated that art builds bridges and brings people together. A look at the fascinating works of art reveals: “I+YOU=WE” is more than just an exhibition theme; it is a way of life.
