On June 19, 2025, the Lobetal village square in Bernau was transformed into a lively stage for diversity and community. A colorful day with international cuisine
The summer festival was more than just an awards ceremony. It offered a colorful program that included an Olympics and international culinary stands. Visitors were able to sample delicacies from all over the world, including dishes from India, Tanzania, Syria, Vietnam, Japan and Germany. It was a festival of the senses that celebrated the diversity of cultures and promoted intercultural exchange.
The school principal Eveline Schwarz expressed her pride in the project and the students. “We stand for a school that stands against racism and discrimination,” she emphasized. The celebration was also supported by contributions from prominent guests, including Andrea Schneider, who read a moving message from Holocaust survivor Margot Friedländer. Godfather Dr. Martin Rothe added that there should be no place for racism in nursing, a central message for prospective nursing staff.
The path to school development
