Weekend in Bernau: Discover classic car races, comedy and more!

In the beautiful region of Bernau, exciting events are on the program, which will provide a lot of hustle and bustle next weekend. From motorized highlights to musical sounds and culinary delights, there is something for everyone.

First for the classic car race in Finowfurt! On June 27th and 28th, the aviation museum will become a rapid competition. Here, lovers of historical vehicles can get their money's worth. The race will start on Saturday at 11 a.m., and until then there will be vehicle takeover and training runs on the agenda on Friday. You can hear and see not only vehicles, but also live music and delicious food. Tickets are available from 25 euros, whereby a weekend ticket is available for 60 euros. If you are spending, you can strike on site for 70 euros, but there is also a ticket for 35 euros for Saturday alone.

music and solemn anniversaries

At the same time, it continues on Friday: A concert of the new music school takes place in the Bernau Stadthalle at 6.30 p.m. Here orchestra, jazz bands and choirs will do their best to give the audience an entertaining evening.

The Bernau youth center also celebrates its anniversary on June 27 and 28. On Friday, the audience and visitors are allowed to listen to the guitar concert of talented children and adolescents. On Saturday the festival will be rounded off by a family and neighborhood program that promotes the shared exchange.

cinema, comedy and hiking marathon

Film friends watch out! On Friday at 7.30 p.m. there will be a demonstration of the film "Beautiful" by Karoline Herfurth in the municipal cinema in Joachimsthal. Entry costs 6 euros and is released from 12 years.

For everyone who likes it sporty and active, the hiking marathon "Hiking Hero 2025" is on the plan on Saturday, June 28th. The approximately 44.5 km route leads through the picturesque Barnimer Feldmark. Here hiking fans can pick up their start numbers from 7.30 a.m. before they start the adventure at 7 a.m. The participation fee is 64.90 euros, and a minimum age of 16 years is necessary for this sporting challenge. After successfully walking through, there are noble medals and a certificate for the participants as a reward.

What would be a Saturday evening without a comedy? Sven van Thom and Martin Gotti will appear on the Kulturbühne Goldener Lion in Wandlitz on June 28th at 8 p.m. Good laughs are guaranteed here. Tickets can be bought in advance for 25 euros or at the box office for 28 euros.

flea market and weather

The crowning glory is on Sunday, June 29th, a flea market in the parking lot of the Bernau forum from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Stands can be reserved in advance by e-mail so that you don't lose any space when browsing for bargains.
