Brandenburg's training tour: Opportunities for young people in 10 cities!

The “Brandenburg wants you” van is on the road again this year! From July 11th to 15th, 2025, this colorful bus will roll through the whole of Brandenburg and has set itself a very special goal: to introduce young people to the diverse training and internship opportunities in their region. On its fifth tour, the van not only provides information about professional opportunities, but also provides plenty of entertainment. Activities such as a wheel of fortune and a photo box invite visitors to actively participate and experience the offerings up close. As Cityreport reports, Economics and Labor Minister Daniel Keller will also stop at the van and provide the young people with advice and support.

The bus tour's partners, including chambers of industry and commerce as well as chambers of crafts, work closely with employment agencies to provide a comprehensive range of information and advice. Education Minister Steffen Freiberg emphasizes the importance of this tour, which helps young people find clear professional orientation and actively shape their future.

On the trail of training

The tour takes the bus to ten cities in Brandenburg, where the young people have the opportunity to find out about dual training opportunities. Among other things, there are around 1,800 training positions and almost 1,700 internship opportunities available in the skilled trades. This sounds like a great opportunity for anyone looking for the perfect start to their career. Economics and Labor Minister Jörg Steinbach therefore invites all young people and families to find out more and visit the Bulli. "Brandenburg wants you! Education has a future here" is not just a slogan, but a promise to the young generation.

The bus tour is part of the “Summer of Vocational Training”, an initiative that runs until October to strengthen the connection between young adults and training companies. Agriculture Minister Hanka Mittelstädt also emphasizes the attractiveness of green professions, while Health and Social Affairs Minister Britta Müller emphasizes the relevance of training in the health and care sector. A “Parent Power Talk” on September 30, 2025 also offers the opportunity to exchange ideas online with experts and receive valuable information. Those interested can find further details on the Brandenburg Training Consensus website at Training Consensus.

Invitation to the young generation

The bus tour is not only a source of information, but also a meeting place. Young people who want to shape their professional future are warmly invited. It shows that the commitment of the Ministry of Economics, Labor, Energy and Climate Protection as well as the support from partners such as the IHKs make a significant contribution to making the training landscape in Brandenburg more attractive. There is a colorful mix of information, activities and personal conversations that are intended to further stimulate interest in the careers.

Be there when the “Brandenburg wants you” van stops by your door and find out what the region has to offer for your professional future!
