FC Energie Cottbus has announced matchdays 3 to 9 in the coming 2025/26 season. On August 2nd, the team starts the new season with a home game against 1. FC Saarbrücken, which will be playing in the stadium at 2 p.m. With a top-class line-up, the season will also be an exciting event for the fan community, as the first nine games are already full of interesting duels.
The two eastern derbies in particular are likely to heat things up. Cottbus welcomes Erzgebirge Aue on September 17th at 7 p.m. Just two weeks later, the team is called upon to play the away game against Hansa Rostock, also a highlight in the region's calendar. These encounters give the season a special appeal and heat up the rivalry.

Commitment to young talent
In addition to sporting competition, FC Energie Cottbus is also heavily involved in the social sector. In cooperation with the Disabled and Rehabilitation Sports Association Brandenburg e.V., football training is offered for children with disabilities. The kids train in the LEAG Energie Stadium under the direction of Marvin Gordon Jahn, the future goalkeeper coordinator in the club's youth performance center. The program not only promotes soccer skills, but also the participants' coordination, balance and agility.
Training takes place every Thursday from 3:15pm to 4:15pm and there is a positive and supportive atmosphere.
