Bergfunk Open Air inspires 1,300 fans in Königs Wusterhausen!

Last weekend the Bergfunk Open Air took place on the Funkerberg in Königs Wusterhausen - a festival that not only made the hearts of music lovers beat faster. With around 1,300 visitors on Friday and a similar number on Saturday, the Stubenrausch association, which acts as the organizer, was able to look back on the event with satisfaction. Like maz-online.de reports, the festival was particularly diverse this year: 18 artists performed, including the indie pop band Mola and the headliner Disarstar, a well-known rapper in the scene.

The Funkerberg, a highly original venue, not only offered music, but also an extensive supporting program. In addition to the performances, visitors could look forward to activities for children, such as painting and playing Jenga. There was a selection of delicacies to satisfy your small appetite: fries, pizza, hot dogs and even a vegetarian kebab were on offer. Of course, the sanitary facilities were also taken into consideration, as clean toilets were available for everyone.

Cultural diversity on two stages

The concept of the festival, which is organized by bergfunk-openair.de, includes two stages and a piano, all of which created a lively atmosphere. The board members of the Stubenrausch association, Alban Gallus and Thea Spinola, were very pleased with how the festival went and the satisfied faces in the audience. The commitment shown by the organization was reflected not only in the music, but also in the selection of merchandise that was offered to the fans: shirts, hats and a photo box ensured that memories could be captured.

The number of visitors may seem rather modest compared to large music festivals such as the Glücksfühle Festival with over 130,000 visitors or the Fusion Festival, which attracts an average of 70,000 people. But it is precisely the intimate atmosphere of the Bergfunk Open Air, which you may not find at larger events, that creates a special bond between artists and audience. Articles on deutschland.de regularly highlight the diversity of festivals in Germany, and the Bergfunk Open Air could definitely get a hearing for the fact that smaller formats also have their place in the festival landscape.

What remains is the anticipation for the next editions of the Bergfunk Open Air. With such a successful festival, there is a high probability that the event will firmly establish itself in Cologne's cultural calendar and will therefore continue to provide the best entertainment in the years to come.
