Musical fireworks: Long Night of Choirs in Ludwigsfelde!

On Saturday evening, the clubhouse in Ludwigsfelde becomes a venue for musical diversity. The “Long Night of the Choirs” takes place as part of the music and art school festival. Here visitors can expect a colorful choir meeting with a wide range of musical offerings.

The event promises a great experience in which ten choirs from Ludwigsfelde and other music schools from Brandenburg will be honored. The opening will be performed by the state youth pop choir “Young Voices Brandenburg”, which will delight the audience with hits by Peter Fox, Michael Jackson and Billie Eilish. But that's just the beginning!

Variety of performances

The “Long Night of the Choirs” offers a varied program. From the choir of the New Apostolic Church Ludwigsfelde, which will perform with the theme “Church in many facets”, to “Missa 4 You(th)” by Tjark Baumann, performed by the choir “Corona Vokalis”. The youth choir “Choeur des Coeurs” will also present modern songs in different languages.

The Königs Wusterhausen singing ensemble will present an equally rousing program from classical to world music, while the Ahrensdorf choir will take guests on a musical journey around the world. From Beethoven to Karat, there will be something for every musical taste. In addition, the “Ahrensdorfer Spatzen” ensemble will perform children’s songs and pop classics with the program “The Sparrows are whistling from the rooftops…”.

A highlight is the musical group of the Marie Curie High School, which will perform the musical “Chess 2.0” by Andreas Schmittberger together with the Evangelical Youth Choir and the project band from the music and art school. The mixed choir Ludwigsfelde e.V. will be presenting its program “Music! Music! Music!” lead through different music genres and eras. The crowning conclusion is the St. Michael church choir with the “Evensong”, which includes sacred vocal music from the early baroque to the 21st century in combination with pop and gospel music.
