New gynecologist in Lübben: MVZ team is growing and offering more consultation hours!

The municipal medical care center (kMVZ) in Lübben recently strengthened its gynecological team. The experienced specialist Marion Warminski has been part of the gynecology and obstetrics practice since July 1, 2023. Warminski not only has conventional medical training, but also additional qualifications in naturopathy, which significantly increases her competence in caring for patients. Your commitment not only scores points with existing patients, but also attracts new interested parties.

With this new addition, the team is supplemented by another specialist, Nadine Metzler, a midwife and two medical assistants. In order to meet the needs of patients, the consultation hours will be significantly expanded from August 1, 2023 - including a new acute consultation. The kMVZ has been in operation since January 2nd, 2025 and focuses on ensuring reliable outpatient medical care for the population in the region, as luebben.de reports.

Growth and challenges

The first few weeks in the kMVZ were a challenge, but it has now been mastered well. The processes in the practice premises have stabilized and the team has a good knack for organization. It is particularly important in rural regions that medical care runs smoothly. The bpb.de highlights how demanding healthcare can be in less densely populated areas, where access to specialist specialists often involves long journeys.

The need for medical care in rural areas is great because of an older population and multimorbidity. The kMVZ has therefore already submitted an application for an additional gynecologist, who is expected to join the team from July 1, 2025. There is also movement in the area of urological care: A urologist's application for approval was granted on November 13, 2024, but is currently being reviewed by the appeal committee of the Brandenburg Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KVBB).

Sustainable supply for the region

The kMVZ is still looking for committed doctors, particularly in the areas of general medicine, gynecology and dermatology. The goal is to provide a more diverse range of medical services in order to best cover the needs of the population. The accessibility of qualified healthcare services is crucial for the population in rural regions. Nevertheless, reality shows that not all specialized care offers can be presented smoothly, as economic operations in these areas are often questionable, as bpb.de notes.

New patients are welcome and appointment requests can be made by telephone at 03546/178975-0 or by email. The kMVZ team expressly thanks the patients for their trust and asks for their understanding for possible adjustments as the practice continues to develop.

The kMVZ in Lübben therefore represents an important component in the region's health care system and shows how important innovative solutions are in outpatient care in rural areas.
