New gynecologist in Lübben: MVZ team is growing and offers more consultation hours!
Lübben, Deutschland - The municipal medical care center (KMVZ) in Lübben recently strengthened its gynecological team. Since July 1, 2023, the experienced specialist Marion Warminski has been part of the practice for gynecology and obstetrics. Warminski not only brings conventional medical training, but also an additional qualification in naturopathic procedures, which significantly increases their competence in the care of patients. Their commitment not only scores with the existing patients, but also attracts new interested parties.
With this newcomer, the team is supplemented by another specialist, Nadine Metzler, a midwife and two medical assistants. In order to meet the needs of the patients, the office hours will be significantly expanded from August 1, 2023 - including a new acute consultation. The KMVZ has been in operation since January 2, 2025 and focuses on securing reliable outpatient medical care for the population in the region, as [Luebben.de] (https://www.luebben.de/stadt-luebben/de/wirtschaft/Medizinische-versorgung
growth and challenges
The first few weeks in the KMVZ were a challenge, which is now well mastered. The processes in the practice rooms have stabilized and the team has a good knack for the organization. It is particularly important in rural regions that medical care works smoothly. The bpb.de emphasizes how demanding health care can be in less densely populated areas, where access to special specialists is often connected.
The need for medical care in rural regions is great because an older population and multimorbidity often occur. The KMVZ has therefore already submitted the application for another gynecologist, which is expected to strengthen the team from July 1, 2025. There is also movement in the area of urological care: the application for admission of a urologist was granted on November 13, 2024, but is currently in the review by the Appeals Committee of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians Brandenburg (KVBB).
sustainable supply for the region
The KMVZ is still looking for committed doctors, especially in the areas of general medicine, gynecology and dermatology. The goal is a more versatile positioning of the medical offer to cover the needs of the population as best as possible. The accessibility of qualified health services is crucial for the population in the rural region. Nevertheless, the reality shows that not all specialized supply offers can be presented smoothly, since economic operation in these areas is often questionable, as the bpb.de notes.
New patients are welcome, and appointment requests can be made by phone at 03546/178975-0 or by email. The KMVZ team expressly thanks for the trust of the patients and asks for understanding for possible adjustments during the continuous development of practice.
The KMVZ in Lübben thus represents an important building block in the health care of the region and shows how important innovative solutions are in outpatient care in rural areas.
