Fire brigade's finest hour: Elbe-Elster wins silver and breaks records!

An exciting chapter in firefighting sport was written last week in Bulgaria. At the first European Championships, which took place in Dolna Banya from August 24th to 30th, 2025, the German fire brigade teams were anything but inconspicuous. The journey took almost 16 hours for the athletes from Elbe-Elster and the surrounding area, who together raised around 15,000 euros for their participation.
