According to the DWD, we can expect cloudy skies on Wednesday, with a few showers in the northern half, while the southern half often remains clear.
Danger of thunderstorms increases
The danger situation then escalates in the coming nights. From Thursday night onwards, an Atlantic depression will move in, bringing some strong thunderstorms to the country. Gusts of up to 100 km/h and heavy rain of around 20 liters per square meter could occur in a short period of time - a real challenge for everyone who is out and about. As the Severe Weather Center informed, there are different warning levels: from advance warnings (YELLOW) to acute warnings (RED for severe storms), each of which indicates the severity of the impending storms.
For Thursday, temperatures will vary between 22 and 32 degrees depending on the region. It's expected to get a little cooler on Friday with a temperature range of 22 to 26 degrees, but the risk of thunderstorms remains for now before the situation appears to calm down a bit.

After the thunderstorms on Friday night, a few showers could remain, but temperatures will remain pleasant. On Saturday the sky in the northern half will be mostly cloudy, while the south will have longer sunshine. The weather forecasts give us hope for a thoroughly traditional summer weekend.
