Huge investment in Grütz: New holiday resort on the Havel is taking shape!

A large investment project is nearing completion in the picturesque Havelland region. LE Bridge AG from Leipzig has pushed forward its plans for a new holiday resort on the Havel in Grütz. Project manager Jonas Stickel speaks of an investment sum in the double-digit million range that is planned for the conversion of the former marina. This development is considered one of the most impressive tourism projects in the area and could sustainably revitalize the area.

The approximately 4,000 square meter property changed hands about five years ago and is now ready for transformation. The land use plan was approved by the city council in February 2025, with the development plan for the location expected to be submitted for a vote in the fall. The building application, the building permit and the start of construction work are planned for the first half of 2026. This could soon usher in a new era for the former Marinamort.

Modernization and relaxation on the Havel

The old marina is being converted into a modern holiday complex that is located directly on the water. An impressive 23 meter high residential tower is planned, which will include a total of 30 holiday apartments, as well as a gastronomic offering that offers guests a tasty choice. While the exact number of jobs this project will create is still uncertain, the first signs of positive development for the local economy are emerging.

Mayor Andy Wilzo is optimistic about the progress of the project. Despite initial concerns from residents due to the dimensions of the project, the investor accepted proposals to reduce the tower height and the number of quarters. Thanks to this flexibility, all parties are now satisfied and there are hardly any objections to the construction project.

Jonas Stickel is confident that there will be no significant changes to the current plan, apart from any necessary fine-tuning. However, one important piece of information remains uncertain: the time when the first holiday guests can move in has not yet been determined.
