A new shine shines in the Schmachtenhagen district of Oranienburg: an exciting leisure resort is developed there on the grounds of a former farmers' market. The reports that the construction of the first six Tiny Houses has already started. This undertaking is an emotional moment for the managing director Ilona Plass, as it marks the end of an almost five -year waiting period. The official opening of the resort is planned for October 1, 2025.
The newly created caravanserei resort is spectacular: a total of 150 parking spaces for campers and 30 lovingly designed Tiny Houses are planned. These come not only from Germany, but also from Estonia and Wales, and offer space for two to four people. The Tiny Houses are equipped with a separate sleeping area, a cozy living room, a modern kitchen area and a toilet with a shower. There is also an outdoor terrace, and for the ultimate wellness experience you can even book a mobile whirlpool.

In addition to the Tiny Houses, there are other exciting facilities, including a large swimming pond, spacious green areas and an event hall for various events. A large beer garden, a beach club and a playground for the little guests are also planned.
Originally, the Bremen entrepreneur Oliver Wandel had presented the concept five years ago. However, a planned opening date for 2023 had to be postponed due to approval procedures. Compared to other areas of the Tiny House movement, such as the Travel canteen , where self-sufficient Tiny Houses flourishes with its own power supply and modern amenities, the caravanserei resort is positioned as an ideal retreat for those looking for relaxation and adventure in the heart Brandenburg.
The construction measures on site run according to plan and the anticipation for the opening is noticeable. The Tiny House Community is booming: More and more people are discovering the charm of minimalist life and natural living spaces.
