Something is happening in football in Oranienburg: The 24th edition of the OFC Eintracht Oberhavel Indoor Masters is just around the corner and promises to be an absolute highlight in the sports calendar. On January 10, 2026, eight top-class men's teams from the region will fight for the title in the MBS Arena. Reported on the field of participants maz-online.de and reveals that, in addition to the host OFC Eintracht, teams such as TuS Sachsenhausen, SV Altlüdersdorf and SV Blau-Weiss Hohen Neuendorf (from the Berlin League) are also taking part. Other participants include the state league clubs FC 98 Hennigsdorf and BSC Fortuna Glienicke as well as the Brandenburgliga relegated SV Zehdenick.
The special thing this year: A place for the best district team from the North regional class still remains open. The first confirmed participant is 1. SV Oberkrämer, who are currently in third place in the North regional class with a solid score of 22 points from 12 games. With only three games remaining until the deadline, taking part in this prestigious tournament is becoming increasingly important for coach Phillipp Koslitz.
Looking back at the 2025 cancellation
It's worth taking a look back: The predecessor, the Oberhavel Hallenmasters 2025, had to be canceled for building law reasons. The hall did not meet the necessary fire protection requirements, and despite efforts to find technical solutions, a timely building permit process was not possible.
