BASF receives Brandenburg Training Award: A victory for the future!
The Brandenburg Training Prize was awarded in a ceremonial setting on November 5, 2025, with BASF InfraService & Solutions Lausitz GmbH in Schwarzheide receiving one of the main awards. The award recognizes the first-class quality and continuity of training in the Lausitz Industrial Park, which plays a central role in the region. Over 70 companies applied for the coveted award, which has now been awarded for the 21st time. The Prime Minister of Brandenburg, Dietmar Woidke, presented the award personally in Potsdam, where he also emphasized the importance of companies in securing skilled workers in the region.
BASF, which has been providing training positions for 35 years, not only helps to secure its own skilled workers, but also actively supports other companies in the area. This shows BASF's holistic approach to vocational training, which aims to prevent the brain drain of young talent and to integrate disadvantaged young people and people with disabilities into the labor market.

A total of eleven companies were recognized for their outstanding training offerings. The award winners are:

- Alpro Metallbau GmbH (Bernau bei Berlin)
- ASB-Seniorenhaus „Am Fontaneplatz“ (Neuruppin)
- BASF InfraService & Solutions Lausitz GmbH (Schwarzheide)

- HTB Haustechnik GmbH Brandenburg (Brandenburg an der Havel)
- Kliniken Beelitz GmbH (Beelitz-Heilstätten)

These companies are not only characterized by the quality of their training, but are also strongly committed to socially disadvantaged groups. In his speech, Labor Minister Daniel Keller highlighted the changes in the training landscape, especially with regard to the challenges that digitalization brings with it.
The award ceremony, which is financed by the Brandenburg Training Consensus, is endowed with 1,000 euros each. This financing is supported by the European Social Fund (ESF+) and the state of Brandenburg. Such initiatives are crucial to securing the skilled workers of tomorrow and strengthening Brandenburg as a business location.
The large number of applications and the variety of services provided by the award-winning companies confirm the high level of commitment to training in the region. These awards send a clear appeal to all companies: training is not just a business, but an investment in the future of your own company and the entire region.
