Open day in Werder: Become a yoga teacher at Hastapada”!

In recent years, yoga has experienced a real boom in Germany. According to a current survey, 16% of the German population regularly take to the mat and practice this ancient discipline, with the proportion of women at over 25% being significantly higher than that of men at just 7%. reports Statista. In this context, a new training program for prospective yoga teachers is being launched in Werder (Havel), which particularly addresses the needs of women.

The initiative is taken by Gianna-Maria Prager and Catharina Koch, who have joined forces to offer training under the name “Hastapada” (which means “hand and foot” in Sanskrit). Catharina Koch, owner of the “Werder Vital” fitness studio and experienced yoga course leader, brings twelve years of entrepreneurial experience with her, while Prager is becoming independently active as a training manager for the first time informs the MAZ.

Training information and open doors

The training lasts 200 hours and is spread over ten weekends. The plan is to start in September and the training is aimed at a maximum of 14 participants. There is also the option of completing 300 hours of advanced training, which gives graduates comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field of yoga. The project thus builds a bridge between the physical and mental practice of yoga and self-knowledge.

A special highlight is the open day, which will take place on July 20th at Werder Vital. Here, those interested have the chance to find out more about the training and get to know the two lecturers and the seven-person team of experts. The focus is on exchange in a supportive, empowering atmosphere, characterized by the majority of women the MAZ continued.

Costs and discounts

In terms of costs, the prices for the training are in the range of 4,777 euros (including VAT), with an early bird discount of 10% available if you register two months before the start of the training says the Hatha Yoga Institute. Participation in special information evenings in advance is also recommended, as this gives you retroactive entitlement to the early bird discount.

For many, yoga is more than just a sport; it is a philosophy of life. The practice of yoga can be divided into physical exercises, breathing techniques and meditative practices and has gained popularity worldwide. Yoga is deeply anchored in everyday life, especially in countries such as India, Canada and Australia. In Germany, however, the potential for further spread remains very high, especially among men, where the proportion of yoga practitioners still has some development ahead of them shows the Statista survey.

For anyone who is interested in not only practicing yoga, but also teaching it, the new training program in Werder (Havel) offers a wonderful opportunity. Anyone who wants to actively connect with body, mind and soul can embark on a creative and inspiring path.
