Brandenburg's book evening: Sörensen has an embarrassing date!
Schiffbauergasse 6, 14467 Potsdam, Deutschland - Last Saturday the "Long evening of Brandenburg Literature" took place in the stylish Villa Quandt. The event attracted around 50 literary enthusiasts who could look forward to the contributions from various authors. Among the readers was also the Potsdam author Sven Stricker but also gave an insight into the developments of his crime series around Commissioner Sörensen.
Stricker announced the upcoming sixth part of the series: "Sörensen goes to the house", the publication of which is planned on February 15, 2026. In this new adventure, Sörensen meets the challenges of an unpleasant date in his family pub, while a message about the death of a youth friend is involved in a new case. The author explained that the development of the characters was more important to him than the action itself, which underlines the emotional depth of his stories.
an evening of diversity
In addition to knitters, other well -known authors also contributed to the diversity of the evening. David Finck read from his newly published novel "Der Dizzel", with the main character "Rasmus" inspired by an idea of his wife, the writer July Zeh. Ulla Lenze presented passages from "the well -being", which deals with the encounter of two unequal women in the Beelitz Heilstätten in 1907. The high demand at the book table of the literary shop Wist testifies to the great interest in literature from the Brandenburg region.
