The pilgrimage path is becoming increasingly popular in the picturesque region of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Since 2014, over 1000 pilgrims have used the chance to experience this unique route that leads from the city of Friedland to Mirow. An average of 100 people set off every year to experience the spirituality and nature of this region up close. "Just live or set up a tent in the garden is what many pilgrims are looking for," explains Rohde-Schaeper. She has been offering a pilgrimage quarters in her own house for 14 years and welcomes 10 to 15 guests every year.

currently the path has some gaps, especially between the places Fürstenberg and Mirow, which many pilgrims feel as a challenge. Overnight stays are urgently sought, especially in the places Priepert, Drosedow and Diemitz.
