Prignitz summer fun: festivals, markets and concerts in July!
The Prignitz region shows itself on the weekend ofJuly 11th to 13th, 2025at their best. A colorful program will be offered in several locations that combine culture, music and festive activities and will delight both locals and guests.
The starting shot will be given on Friday, July 11th. The concert “Klanglandschaft Prignitz” with the Ensemble Wunderkammer will take place in **Demerthin** at 6 p.m., for which a ticket price of 14 euros is due. In **Pritzwalk**, the weekly market invites you to browse and buy from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., while in **Wittenberge** there are several highlights on the program: The weekly fresh market beckons from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by an exclusive city tour “Between Alleys and Scenes” at 3:30 p.m. (15 euros). The “Festival of Lights of Dreams” is celebrated at the Elbland Festival in the evening from 8 p.m., admission costs from 39 euros.
Saturday, July 12th brings even more festivities. In **Nebelin** the big village festival celebrating its 725th anniversary is being celebrated, which begins with a parade at 11 a.m. Market activity, a church concert at 6:30 p.m. and a party with the band 3Live from 8 p.m. round off the program. A varied day lies ahead in **Perleberg**, from workshops at the Kulturkombinat to a flea market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a free concert in St. Jacobi Church at 6:30 p.m. Town hall tours, vintage bus tours and a Fiesta Latina party are also on the agenda in **Wittenberge**, while in **Wolfshagen** the Trio Intermezzo will give a concert at 3 p.m.
A weekend full of diversity
Sunday, July 13th, features a picnic blanket concert in **Lenzen**, where handpan music will be heard at 11 a.m. An open-air service will take place in **Nebelin** at 9.30 a.m., followed by morning pints with the Löcknitztal musicians. In **Perleberg**, visitors can take part in the “Printing for All” workshop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and in **Pritzwalk** a summer and birthday party will be celebrated in the parent-child center at 11 a.m. In the early evening, the Suitable Amateur Theater will provide cultural entertainment with the premiere of the play “Fahrenheit 451” in **Wahrenberg**.
The old town of **Perleberg**, which is often described as the “Pearl in the Prignitz” and “Venice of the North”, offers visitors more than just events: thanks to its location on an island in the Stepenitz, it invites you to take a leisurely stroll.
