Tierpark Safari 2025: Students discover animals and win great prizes!

The zoo safari in the Perleberger zoo enjoyed great popularity this year and has attracted the interest of 700 pupils. From June 2 to June 6th there were exciting activities around zoo animals, which were organized by the zoo administration, the GWG housing company Perleberg/Karstädt and the restaurant "Hubertus Kleine Residenz". This initiative offers a great opportunity for children to expand their knowledge of animals in a playful way and to clarify many questions, especially about the popular Poitou Islands that played a central role here.

The response to the safari was consistently positive. Teachers praised the event and some schools even used the creative form of participation to celebrate the day -to -day day. The beautiful nature and zoo attracts not only the school children from the district of Prignitz, but also from the surroundings of Heiligengrabes.

The next zoo safari is already planned for 2026 a week before the zoo festival. Many are already looking forward to another round full of fun and education in this exciting environment.

Another exciting safari: The donkey safari

But you can not only enjoy exciting animal experiences in the Perleberger zoo. The Esel Safari takes place in the Buchenberg Nature Park, where participants have the opportunity to brush donkeys, maintain and hike with them. The event offers a cozy greeting in the nature park house with a drink and information about the park. For animal lovers there is also a pet area with geese, chickens and the horse "Frufru".

The donkey safari includes a guided trekking tour through the nature park and the opportunity to enjoy a picnic with a lunch package during the tour. The participants who run a donkey also receive a donkey driver's license and a souvenir photo. Those who want to take part in the donkey safari should be prepared to wear clothes that can become dirty and bring firm shoes with you. Children aged 9 years of age are allowed to lead a donkey accompanied by an adult, while the minimum age for leading the sole.

Another highlight in the zoo scene is the event Pasta Opera, which will take place on December 13th in Friedrichsfelde Castle. Here music lovers can enjoy classic pieces from the Rococo while feasting a 4-course menu. The tickets are available online and promise an unforgettable evening with musical highlights of masters like Rossini and Verdi.
