In the construction industry of Brandenburg, a new wooden building system causes a stir. Ulrich Kaatzsch, a 73-year-old building contractor from Neuruppin, achieved impressive results with the innovative timber construction system based on OSB Magnumboard. This system is produced in Heiligengrabe and enables the fast construction of living space. It consists of large -format panels that are up to 2.80 m high and 15 m long and can be used as load -bearing walls, blankets and roofs. Kaatzsch built an apprenticeship home in Boltenmühle, which offers space for up to eight people and was built in just a few hours.
The construction with magnumboard convinces with its efficiency. Walls can be set up within three hours and the roof can be installed on the following day. At a model house in Zermützel, the shell was completely created in just eight hours. The construction process is not only quick, but also sustainable, since the system combines the advantages of traditional timber construction methods with modern solid construction.
