On August 30, 2025, an open day will be held to celebrate this achievement. The industrial park has changed significantly over the seven decades. It all started in 1955 with the first groundbreaking for the gas combination black pump. After the fall of the reunification and the associated structural change, new technologies were accessible, which ultimately led to the foundation of the Zweckverband Industriepark Schwarze Pumpe (ZV ISP) in 2005. Since then, over 350 million euros have been invested in the infrastructure and location management to make the region fit for the future.
