Schulzendorf's coach Schuffenhauer: We want the title!

The coach of SG Schulzendorf, Jeffrey Schuffenhauer, has formulated clear goals for the current 2025/26 season in the East regional class. The team wants to be undisputed at the top and has collected an impressive 30 points so far. The latest results and current form give hope. Maz-online reports that SG Schulzendorf was able to defend its position with an impressive 3-0 away win against Eintracht from Königs Wusterhausen.

The scorers of this important derby were Mick-Oliver Thiel, who scored the first goal in the 18th minute, followed by Steven Ewaldt in the 74th minute and Leon-Niklas Petrofsky, who returned in the 86th minute after being injured for over six months and immediately crowned his comeback with a goal. The team can be proud of its record of ten wins and only one defeat, with the only drawback being the narrow 1-2 defeat against 1. FC Frankfurt II.

Balance sheet and outlook

In a total of eleven games, SG Schulzendorf scored 35 goals and only conceded 12 goals. Schuffenhauer, who praises the unified team performance and the stability of the defense, points out that the squad was specifically strengthened in the summer. The new additions harmonize well with the existing players, which is already evident in their previous performances. In addition, long-term injured players are returning, which only benefits the team.

However, there are now two crucial games that could set the tone for the rest of the season. On November 14th, the SG will face Teltower FV, followed by a game against Blau-Weiß Dahlewitz on November 15th. Schuffenhauer sees Frankfurt II, Wünsdorf and Dahlewitz as the strongest competitors in the league, but also has Guben in mind as a challenging opponent.

Regarding the current status of the other SG Schulzendorf teams, it should be mentioned that the reserves unfortunately cannot demonstrate quite the same success. They had suffered some bitter defeats in the previous season, including a 3-0 defeat against FSV Eintracht Königs Wusterhausen and a 3-5 defeat against SG Phönix Wildau II. The third and fourth teams are also fighting in the first district class, but have to contend with strong setbacks, including a 10-3 defeat against SV Schönefeld.
