Studio tour in Lychen: Experience art, creativity and community!
In the tranquil town of Lychen, a special event will be celebrated again on November 15th from 1 p.m.: the Lychen studio tour. Under the motto “fragile – stable” the city is transformed into a lively studio. The event attracts numerous visitors every year and gives them the opportunity to immerse themselves deeply in the creative world of the local artists and craftsmen. A red thread serves as a practical guide to 15 different stations, all of which are unique and present interesting works. That's how he reports Northern Courier.
The studio tour has been an integral part of the region's cultural calendar since 2011. Visitors have the opportunity not only to admire works of art, but also to purchase them. The atmosphere is enriched by lights, fire bowls and warm drinks. Conversations in the studios and musical performances create an inviting atmosphere. It will be particularly exciting with the “ON A WORD” campaign, in which guests can collect lines of poetry and have them presented at the end of the day at 6:30 p.m. in the Ambellan ceramics studio Tourism Uckermark describes.
Artists and stations
The studios and workshops that are open during the tour include, among others:
- Rosemarie Langlott in der Kirche mit ihren Keramikarbeiten.
- Karl Rätsch, der seine Skulpturen und Zeichnungen in Am Wurlsee 10 präsentiert.
- Renate Trottner zeigt ihre Öl-, Pastell- und Aquarellbilder in der Kleinen Galerie, Rutenberger Straße 1.

The importance of this event for the city's culture can hardly be overestimated, as it brings together not only artists, but also people who are interested in and want to enjoy creative work.
Sociability and creativity
This special event focuses on interactivity. Art enthusiasts can not only view the artists' works, but also have a direct conversation and exchange their personal views on the works of art. This exchange is encouraged by the warm atmosphere and many conversations in the studios. That's the smell of creativity hanging in the air!
The studio tour is more than just an exhibition – it is a celebration of creativity and community. The anticipation for the event is already palpable and everyone involved is looking forward to welcoming visitors to their workshops. This year the tour will begin with a vernissage on November 14th at 7 p.m. for the fusing glass works by Susan Jancke and Frances Zimmermann.
