Baumgarten, Deutschland - In the small community of Baumgarten there will be a very special festival on July 19. The fire brigade celebrates its 100th anniversary, and already with a moving story in the back. But four years ago, the life of the firefighters Inka and Jessica Tiebach as well as her daughter Annina and her girlfriend tragically thrown out of the track. In a serious accident on the A11, they were hit by an unchecked frenzied car. The rescuers not only demonstrated their skills, but also reinforced the family in their conviction that they continue to actively participate in the fire brigade. Inka Tiebach, who entered the local fire brigade 17 years ago, has been able to work out to be a fire champion over the years. Her wife and daughter Annina are also regularly involved in missions. Annina also plans to start training in the emergency services. All of this shows how deep fire work in the family is rooted, despite the painful experiences of the past. The festival begins on July 19 at 1 p.m. with a festival appell on the depot. A highlight will be a service under the direction of Rainer Krause, followed by a move of the surrounding weirs at 3 p.m. A car corso with fire engines from the entire area of office will also enrich the celebrations. In the evening, the Schalmei chapel from Mühlhof provides musical entertainment, followed by live music from 7 p.m. The physical well -being of the visitors is also taken care of: stands with food and drinks invite you to feast, and the proceeds from the cake bazaar benefit from the Hospizverein Uckermark.

Events took place from Friday to Sunday that honored the fire service's volunteer service. The highlights included a festive reception with many invited guests, the ceremonial handover of two new fire engines and a large move by Altgarbsen, which, despite drizzle, attracted numerous visitors. Mayor Claudio Provenzano and local fire chief Thomas Cremer thanked the firefighters for their tireless efforts and the valuable work in the community.

Both events are not only celebrations, but also signs of appreciation for the services of the emergency services. The celebration of both cities shows how important support from volunteering is and that the traditions of the fire brigade are not only rooted in the past, but are also kept alive in the present.
