Sixst graders from Prenzlau celebrate summer start with creative greeting!
Uckermark, Deutschland - A warm, sunny day in the Uckermark heralds the summer vacation! On June 21, 2025, class 6a of the Prenzlau secondary school "Carl Friedrich Grabow" sends a warm greeting to all students. The anticipation of the upcoming vacation is noticeable, while the young people prepare for the different ways that they will take after the holidays. Some students will switch to high school, while others continue to stay at the high school.
Mador manager Christina Wolff emphasizes the meaning of the change and informs about the perspectives that are waiting for the students. "I wish everyone a successful start in September," she says and thanks for the cheerful hours that have shaped the school year. The community dealt with summer poetry one last time, with the topic of traveling in poems by Andreas Kleingrothe. The students not only used their poetic skills, but also celebrated the anticipation for new adventures during the holidays.
A look at the summer vacation
The summer vacation are just around the corner, and the students in the Uckermark are already full of anticipation. Especially in view of the approaching summer time, which in many German federal states brings a change of everyday school life and responsibilities. According to Schulferien.org, the holiday division has already been determined in North Rhine-Westphalia. The long summer holidays start on July 14th and last until August 26th - a welcome break for pupils to recharge your batteries and gather experiences.
The upcoming end of the school year is expected to be expected by students, teachers and parents. The leisure activities that are waiting for the children during the summer vacation are diverse and rich. Sports and leisure activities are booming in recent years, and demand is high. Leisure camps, excursions and especially travel are very popular. Certainly some young family will not harm a break to distant countries or a relaxing day on the North Sea.
community and cohesion
The common together in the class and the sharing of memories strengthens cohesion. As Christina Wolff aptly describes it, the past year was not only shaped by learning, but also by many cheerful moments. For pupils who leave the high school behind and switch to high school, a new phase of life now begins - an exciting journey that is associated with many new challenges and opportunities.
While the summer vacation will start soon, the anticipation will remain for the coming school year. The greeting of the 6a will not only live in the hearts of the students, but also in the whole school, which is looking forward to a colorful and fulfilling new school year.
