Templin Christmas magic: Looking for ideas for festive attractions!

The festive atmosphere can already be felt in Templin, as the first signs of this year's Christmas season appear in the streets. Small, inviting posters in the shop windows indicate the upcoming events that will be celebrated from late November to early December. Cassandra Schirmer from Tourismus Marketing Templin GmbH (TMT) is keeping an eye on the preparations and encourages both locals and guests to mark the dates in their calendars. The big events start with a warm tree decorating at the market on November 28th, followed by a torchlight and lantern parade and communal Advent songs.

A colorful Christmas market for everyone

The Christmas tree that has already been found will decorate the square in Templin, and registrations are already being accepted for next year. “Templin Museum Christmas 2025” on November 29th and 30th also promises to be a highlight. From December 2nd to 7th, the market square will become a lively center with a wide range of offerings. To make the experience even more attractive, the Christmas market is accompanied by the “Open Shops & Farms Week”. All retailers are invited to plan their own campaigns to attract new customers. The first positive reactions and suggestions have already been received. Sven Borde, for example, is planning an “ice cream magic” with waffle baking, while Julia Suckow wants to bring a breath of fresh air with discount campaigns.

Fairytale moments

Another attraction will be a walk-in fairytale forest, filled with real trees and living fairytale characters that enrich the royal ambience. The characters, including Santa Claus, will be on site every day to tell stories and provide fun and games. In addition to these fairytale experiences, there will be traditional Christmas hype, although its implementation depends on the applicable Corona regulations. Vendors can look forward to paid stands, although the sale of new goods is excluded. Your physical well-being is taken care of and free parking spaces are also available.
