Mickelat, who was released from his position at TSV Etelsen two weeks ago, quickly agreed with the club after several conversations. Artur Janot, sporting director of TSV Ottersberg, described Mickelat as a "stroke of luck" and highlighted his experience and communication skills. Despite numerous offers that Mickelat received after his release, he chose Ottersberg due to the positive chemistry with those responsible.

The new coach plans to start preparing with the team on June 30th. He was optimistic about the quality of the squad and expected that a successful season is possible in the event of a harmonious team spirit.

In order to be able to strengthen the team, Axel Sammrey was installed as a new coach, while Drilon Demaku has the role of the sports director.
