On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the police Bremen and Bremerhaven carried out massive control of trucks in Europaallee in Hemelingen. Supported by the customs authorities and dangerous goods experts from Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt, the goal was clear: the review of waste and dangerous goods.

between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. around 60 trucks were examined for their loading and the technical condition. The control focused on safety and proper handling of hazardous substances. The Bremen police announced that such controls will be continued in the future to ensure security on the streets.
