Burglars caught: Brave witnesses save house in Huchting!

On Tuesday morning, June 3, 2025, the Bremen police were alerted after two burglars had entered a house in Bremen-Huchting. The men's criminal machinations were stopped thanks to the courageous intervention of attentive neighbors. A 47-year-old resident heard suspicious noises and discovered an intruder in the stairwell that threatened her with a knife before fleeing.

A 54-year-old witness who happened to be passed by and saw the perpetrator rose to an escape vehicle that was directed by an accomplice. The brave citizens and their quick reaction ultimately led to the arrest of the two men, with one already sitting in custody. The Bremen police praised the courageous behavior of the residents without which the burglars could escape.
