This model series is offered for the first time as an electric vehicle and is to become part of the innovative "new class", which aims at a younger target group. Without the 1 Series, BMW would estimate a third of its sales volume.

With these new technologies, BMW promises a range of up to 750 km and a faster charging process. The “new class” vehicles can be charged in just 10 minutes for 300 km.
