Rastplatz Settel, Lengerich, Deutschland - On Monday afternoon, a serious traffic accident occurred on Autobahn 1 towards Bremen. A 77-year-old man headed for his classic car when he collided with the rear of a Volkswagen Touran, who was driving in front of him. In the accident, two people were seriously injured and two more were slightly injured. All injuries were immediately admitted to hospitals.

The police blocked the highway for the duration of the accident recording and the medical care of the injured. The road was completely closed until around 5:10 p.m. before the traffic could be released again. The investigation into the course of the accident continues.
