Woman kills man out of hate: Ulm process shocks the nation!

At the Ulm District Court, the trial of 26-year-old woman has started today who is accused of murdering a 46-year-old man out of hatred against men. According to the indictment, the woman wanted to get fame and attention as a serial killer. The murder happened in October when she stabbed the victim on October 16. After the crime, the accused was arrested and has been in custody since then. The severity of the crime is undeniable: the woman is said to have tied up the victim naked naked on a chair and stabbed him 27 times with a knife.

Before she got off to the act, the accused listened to headphones to ignore the screams of their victim. During the interrogation, she sometimes reacted grinning to the questions of the investigators. The motif behind the brutal crime is deeply rooted in her own past: she has experienced violence in previous relationships, was beaten and raped. An expert, Nahlah Saimeh, spoke of forced ideas and a pronounced interest of the accused of serial murderers.

The background

The life story of the accused is characterized by considerable difficulties. She grew up in a violent environment, experienced abuse by the father and developed self -harmful behavior during school. Her problems further tightened when she got into prostitution and had financial difficulties. In the run -up to the murder, she had appointed another man for sex games, who canceled. After the murder, she expressed herself to a friend about her victim: "The spast was only 10 euros."

As part of the process, it is also checked whether the accused must be instructed in psychiatry or whether preventive detention is ordered. The process still has five days of negotiations and is expected to continue until mid -July.

social context

The discussion about gender violence and the treatment of victims is currently of great social importance. A study by the Federal Ministry for Family, Seniors, Women and Youth suggests that violence against men often remains underexposed. It is important to recognize and discuss the complex social dynamics that can lead to such violence and to illuminate the associated social issues.

The case therefore not only raises questions about the individual psyche of the accused, but also on the social perception of violence and the often overlooked experiences of men in violent situations. This could initiate a more comprehensive debate about gender roles and violence in our society.
