Dealer battle for family brooches: Who offers more at BARES for RARES?

The popular ZDF flea show "Bares for Rares" continues to inspire millions of spectators with exciting stories and valuable treasures. In a current episode, Armin and Sebastian Stein presented a special brooch that comes from their family ownership and was never worn. Jewelry expert Wendela Horz was consulted and found that the brooch probably dates from the 1970s and contains both six emeralds and diamonds. The prices of the Steins were between 800 and 1000 euros.

Surprise in the dealer room: Susanne and Wolfgang Pauritsch, who took their place in the round, reacted to the brooch. Among the objects presented was a biscuit box made of stoneware that was sold for 210 euros, and two designer chairs from Verner Panton, which achieved a price of 750 euros. A salon carpet from France found a buyer for 300 euros, and an Italian carpet bracelet made of gold was even sold for 2100 euros. However, a wall clock from the Black Forest remained unsalable because the seller requested a minimum price of 300 euros.

Attention was not only directed towards the brooch of the Steins. Another diamond brooch offered by Rene Fats, another participant, also received great attention. When his grandmother is classified, expert Dr. Heide Recepta-Zabel the value of the brooch, which consists of diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds, at 1600 to 1800 euros. The seller was visibly surprised by this assessment, especially when the dealers were enthusiastic in the room. Elke Velten offered 1500 euros, which amazed the others.
