Police chase furniture robbers: women steal over 10,000 euros in Lüneburg!
On June 4, 2025, two women from Hamburg stolen furniture worth over 10,000 euros from a furniture store in Lüneburg. The following day they tried to acquire further valuable furniture, but employees discovered that their direct debit was not covered due to "insolvency". They then alerted the police, who arrested the perpetrators and voted another procedure with the Hamburg police. The two women, who are already known for similar offenses, are now faced with goods credit fraud.
In addition, a Mercedes-Benz Vito was broken up in Lüneburg on the night of June 6th, with tools worth several hundred euros being stolen. The same morning, a serious accident occurred in Adendorf when a 59-year-old driver overlooked a 51-year-old cyclist who was seriously injured by the impact. In a further incident, a 40-year-old in Pudrip and her VW van and collided, which led to three injuries and caused property damage of over 45,000 euros. The Lüneburg police investigate in several of these cases and asks for information.
